Entonces:
Hasta la vista baby.

While we are living last days of this long summer, I’ve to say something good about it and we’ve to forget these days that were killing us by high temperature.
My Spain adventure was the most interesting and the best part of those hot days.
As I’ve already told about how the adventure was started and then we’re going to continue it.
After we said goodbye to my lovely friend and to my nephew we continued to our traveling towards Barcelona in train. Once again we fell in love with Spanish trains. Although it is little bit expensive they’re still comfortable and fast and also arrival to train stations is not as complicated as than arrival of the airports.
When we arrived to Barcelona the easiest part was finding the hotel that my husband warned me to look at the around in case of searching the street name because when you look around it was impossible not to see hotel. We stayed in Hotel Torre Catalonia that it was very good decision to stay there because it was very comfortable and with beautiful view of the city it was very interesting. Also the staff was lovely and it was very close to metro so we were able to go to wherever we want and besides the metro line are not complicated so it is very easy travel around the city. We bought T10 ticket per person. It costs €9, 95 that was sufficient during our stay there.
By the way, the hotel costs €370, 26 for 3 nights, for two people and the breakfast costs €22, of course we preferred to discover different corners of the city.
It is sure that our first destination of the city was seeing the fruits of Gaudi, so our first stop was Sagrada Familia. I bought the entrance couple of days ago through internet, so we didn’t waste time on the queue. Our entrance was at 9.45 A.M., so we arrived little bit earlier to have breakfast around: there are nice places to pick something around. The Sagrada Familia experience was great: the dance of colours, the impressive architecture and the intelligence hiding behind the details impressed me much.
The entrance of Sagrada Familia costs €22 with audio, without it €15. We bought one and used one by one.
After falling in love with Sagrada Familia, we headed to Park Güel, so we just kept seeing more pieces of master.
When we arrived the Park Güel the heat made us very tired but this colourful face of the city worth all these affords. The park is very good location to have a rest and then to continue to see the interesting feature of Gaudi: striking colours, curves, the materials of nature keep going here. After spending a long time here we also didn’t forget to see the other pieces of Gaudi: la Pedrera and the Casa Batlló.
This was my second time in Barcelona and for this reason I didn’t want to run around the city but live it quietly. So, I had time to discover the Gothic Quarter and El Borne District, I walked around the Ramblas, looked at the infinite sea, enjoyed in Barceloneta and discovered delicious taste of Boqueria.
The next day of course we had to enjoy the marvelous Mediterranean Sea and to discover the restaurants around.
Barcelona has an energetic atmosphere and it is obvious that full of tourists, so it is very easy to know many people. So, we took advantage of it and joined a Couchsurfing meeting and then we met with new friends.
Like every interesting city Barcelona needs very long time to be discovered. We had a rapid route to gain more opinion about the city and it sure that we have to come back again to enter inside of this beauty. It is the city you have all: the history, the architecture, the sea, the beaches, delicious tastes, etc. For this reason it is recommendable that you should lose yourself between the streets and inside of the beauty of the city. Then let’s say:
See you soon baby.
