If you’re breakfast lover like me I am sure omelette would be apple of your eyes. I think, I can eat omelette any time of the day: for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner.. So, I want to share couple of my favourite recipes on my recipe book.
Simple omelette for 2 people
- Eggs (4)
- Any vegetable you wish ( leak, spring onion, bell pepper), mushroom or ham
- Butter (1/2 tsp)
- 2 tbsp milk
- Pepper, mint, chili (if you like)
Put the butter into the pan and let it melt and then add vegetable, or meat or mushrooms and fry them for 3-4 minutes.
Whisk the eggs on a bowl, put the salt, the milk and spices and whisk more. Add the fried vegetables or the meat into whisked eggs and pour the mixture into the pan. If butter is required before pouring the egg mixture, add little bit more butter and let it to be cooked slowly. When it is not loose any more, you can turn the other side.
If you cook plain omelette, when the other side of them omelette is about to cook, you can put cheese on the half side of the omelette and close it with the other half or you can just grate cheese when it is cooked or add it when you mix the vegetables with eggs. This depends on how you like it.
I love any omelette, mostly vegetarian, and eating with lots of salad.
A good breakfast is very good way to start a sterling day.
As I always mention, “breakfast should be related to happines”. This is why in my family Sunday breakfasts are extremely holy.
Enjoy your omelette.
