I’ve to admit that I am a burger addicted, but it should not be just a burger, but a custom burger, like mummade. So when I announced at home that I am going to cook burger menu, I meant that, yes I would prepare everything at home. So first I started to prepare burger bread.
for 2-3 people, prepare 2-2,5 hours , cook 25 min.
Ingrediets of burger bread
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 cup yoghurt for top
1 tbsp. yeast
4-5 cup flour
Put the yeast and warm milk in a bowl and let to sit 5-10 minutes. Put the rest of the ingredients except flour and mix them. Put the flour slowly until to get a soft dough. Tap the dough with a wet napkin and let to be doubled during 1-1.5 hour. When it is fermented make small pieces on egg size and put them on the oven tray and let them to be get doubled more in a warm place like 30 – 45 minutes more. When they’re get doubled make yoghurt wash on top of the dough pieces and spread sesame on top. Bake them on 180 C heated oven until they get red, around 20-25 minutes and breadsss are readyyyy for burger!!!
Prepare 30 min, cook 20-25 min.
300 gr. ground beef
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 cup parsley
2 onions (one is to caramalize)
1 tsp sugar
5-6 cloves garlic
5-6 slice of cheddar
Spice (cumin, chili, plack pepper, mint, oregano)
Put the meat, one onion, garlic and parsley in food processor and mix them well. Than add salt and spices. Put them in a bowl and knead it like a dough. Let the meat wait 15 mintutes. Then decide the size of burger and make burger pieces. I prefer middle size and thick pieces. When burgers are ready fry them slowly in a pan. When they are about to fry put cheddars on it and let the cheddar melt little bit.
Caramalize one onion with 1 tsp. sugar in same pan.
Put burger, lettuce, caramalized onion, cheddar, pickle,tomato on bread.
I served it with french fries, green salad and white wine with bitter lemon schweppes. Yummyyyy fast food time!!!
